Debts of Gratitude
This album has a strong Americana feel with some old school folk mixed in. All 10 tracks are original songs either written solely by Dave or with co-writers! A combination of great story telling and seasoned musicians make this album a must have!
A singer/songwriter based out of Richmond Virginia Dave has spent the last 10 years writing and recording original songs and performing them around the country. In 2013 He released his first studio album "Four Hour Lunch Break" and since then has released 2 others, "Back In Time" and most recently "Debts Of Gratitude" in November of 2018.
Dave credits his songwriting style to the influence of songwriters such as John Prine, Guy Clark, and Jimmy Buffett. Keeping things simple and telling stories are the backbone of his songs.
While he spends most of his time performing locally in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic states, he has enjoyed many opportunities to perform at songwriter festivals around the country in states such as Texas, Florida, Louisiana, New England and the Pacific Northwest.
With a lot of road behind him and so many great memories, Dave Looks forward to whatever his musical adventures in the future will bring him.
Back in Time
Country/Americana music with a Tropical Twist
My musical influences come from all different directions from genres such as old school country to Americana with even a little bit of jazz thrown in! This album is best described as diverse with songs like "Let Me Drink This Beer First" that offers and old school country sound to "Lazy Summer Sunday" that has a strong jazz feel. And if you listen hard enough you can hear that Jimmy Buffett influence in the music!
